Hour 12: Mid-Event Meme

Oct 9th 2010Daniellereadathon

Wahoo! You’ve made it to the half-way mark! Whether you’re close to bed time, already in bed or enjoying a mid-day break I’m sure you’re all in need of a little pick me up. So who better the Cake’s “The Distance” to provide a little mid-event entertainment?

Need something a little more inspirational? Try a little All American Rejects “Move Along”:

Mini-challenge

It’s time for the mid-event meme! Post your answers on your blog and then come back here to leave your link!

Mid-Event Survey:

1. What are you reading right now?

Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz
2. How many books have you read so far?

5

3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?

starting a sixth book and hosting the mini-challenge
4. Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day?

I took the day of work and went grocery shopping :)

5. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?

only getting addicted to the challenges and not reading!! also cheer leading takes time too

6. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
nothing, same fun as before

7. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?

only one, last readathon I won a prize from a mini challenge and the blogger never followed through, It was upsetting when she totally stopped responding to me and, I never got the book. Maybe you guys could get some volunteers to follow up that prizes were received, I'd hate for someone else to go through it.
8. What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year?

I probably would take a year off of cheer leading,
9. Are you getting tired yet?
A little
10. Do you have any tips for other Readers or Cheerleaders, something you think is working well for you that others may not have discovered?

Id just say take the day of, and don't be too hard on yourself :)
