REVIEW: The Little Endless Storybook by Jill Thompson

The little Endless is a wonderful example of a storybook for all ages. The little Endless are actually characters from Neil Gaiman's groundbreaking Comic Book series The Sandman. When artist Jill Thompson illustrated a flash back sequence between Dream and his Sister Death as little endless they were such a success that Jill did various artistic commissions and even handmade dolls featuring the characters,

For those not familiar with the Sandman Universe The Endless are immortal representations of: Dream, Desire, Death, Destiny, Destruction, Despair and Delirium. In this first story we meet Delirium and her puppy Barnabas. As they explore their day the two get separated and a very stressed Barnabas begins a quest to find her. The journey takes him to all of her siblings and their homes.

Jill is a talented artist and this book will fully engage a young child as they explore the different realms of the endless family. A wonderful read for all ages.
