COUNTDOWN TO SDCC 11:SPOTLIGHT ON ACTION LAB COMICS
In 15 Days, 1 hour and 43 minutes I will be walking through the doors of the San Diego Comic Con! I'm so excited! SDCC is the one event that captures all of my passions in one giant fan filled umbrella. Where else can you go to a independent film screening one day, meet the Games of Thrones cast on another. Get a sketch of your favorite comic character in the morning and meet authors like Patricia Briggs in the afternoon?
So in the next couple of weeks I'll be sharing with you some of the talented people I'm hoping to meet with during the con.
Today I wanted to spotlight the comic book publisher Action Lab Comics.I discovered Action Lab Entertainment:
The author of Action Lab book Princeless, Jeremy Whitley, sent me a PDF sample of their upcoming release Princeless:
This is a marvelous book that I'll be reviewing in the future. I was very excited to see a racially diverse lead in a comic that is fun and suitable for all ages.
Action Lab is also releasing two other titles that I'm really interested in:
Fracture is very intriguing. I've only read the 7 page preview but it seems the lead character can some how end up in the bodies of other people. Snowed In is releasing in October and is a stand alone Horror story about a group of people stranded in a snow storm.
