THE TOP 5 THINGS HORROR MOVIES TAUGHT ME

  

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Hope you all have a wonderful, creepy day planned :) I don't have to go into work til later so Ill be home watching scary movies for a while. The very first horror movie I saw was Friday the 13th. My father and I had a weekly Sunday movie ritual. He would stop by on Sundays with the paper, and we would pick what our movie would be. My Father also rarely stayed awake for more than 15 minutes after the lights went down! I can still remember clutching his arm and whispering his name as the saga of crystal lake and Jason unfolded. That day I became a true horror fan and learned some life lessons:

1) IN THE END YOUR ALL ALONE

Yes that cute guy or you best friend may stand by your side in most aspects of life, but those same people will run in terror and possibly push you in front of a maniac knife wielder!

 2) DON'T LOOK BACK

Always move forward, your past is baggage. So is that murderous knife wielding lunatic! Of course he's lowing you! Look strait ahead and don't stop! You don't want to miss that tree or threat conveniently placed log that 's going to topple you.

    3) CHOOSE YOUR  SHOES WISELY

Those spiky heels? Cute but useless. Unless you have the sense of mind to slash someone with those pointy heels. Always keep a pair of sneakers with you or at the first sign of trouble? Ditch  those shoes and run!

  
4) IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL IT'S OVER

 So you got a lucky hit in, or the problem seems solved. Before you run off into the sunset do a little fact checking, or for a pulse. A few extra bullets to that monster don't hurt either, they always get up!

                                                             
  5) YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOU KNOW

So your between jobs, relationships, living in your parents basement. That doesn't define who you are. Remember it's the governments, hospitals and banks that always fall in a Zombie Apocalypse. It's the little guy that thrives, and the prepared one. Those High School Jocks and Cheerleaders become instant cannon fodder while the geeks save the day!
