ARMCHAIR BEA Day 2: Best of 2012

Hello Everyone! Here we are at Day 2 of Armchair BEA. Today's topic is best of 2012. The goal is to share some of the best books we have read so far this year. I've read 103 books this year ( yet I'm still behind on my goodreads goal!) Here are some books that really stood out, they aren't all current but I read them all this year:

YA

I loved these three  books which are trilogies and ongoing series. Amazing reads!

Historical Fiction

A lot of people have been talking about the blogging community in their posts. I discovered this book because of fellow blogger TRUE BOOK ADDICT. It was so much fun reading it with her and other bloggers. This book is a 900 page plus monster read that you just cant put down.

ZOMBIES!!!!

I'm a huge Zombie fan. Here are two  great books that add a unique twist to the world of zombie fiction:

GRAPHIC NOVELS

I'm so glad to see so many bloggers embracing graphic novels. Here are some great reads that range from personal memoirs, all ages science fiction amazing anthologies and noir:

Hope this post stimulates some interest in these fine reads :)

I love this list because I haven't read any yet! I have Dust & Decay on my shelves, but want to read Rot & Ruin first. And my fave read for 2012 has been a historical fiction (which surprised me), Mistress of Rome; and also Daughter of Smoke & Bone (YA fantasy).

The only one I've read is White Cat! I just finished Black Heart not too long ago.

I'll have to check out the others.

Rot & Ruin has been on my list for a while. I think I should probably read it if the sequel has already been released. :) I'm glad you joined ABEA! Tattooed Books
I've heard nothing but great things but wonderful things about The Curse Workers series. It's been on my (almost full to bursting)TBR list. If only there were more than 24hrs in a day. *le sigh*

I hope you have a great BEA-filled week!

You've been busy! I heard Whisper was good!

I like your paisley wallpaper :)
SILVER PHOENIX is so amazing. I'm so glad you chose it! (It's not a trilogy, though!) I want to re-read WHITE CAT before reading BLACK HEART!

I'm always looking for graphic novel recommendations--Legend of Zita is such a clever title!

I love your blog header, by the way.
I loved, loved, loved Dust & Decay! I cannot wait for the next book. I really need to read Silver Phoenix. It's been sitting on my shelf for years. Here's my post.
