Holiday Movies and television specials really help get me into the holiday season. Watching TV or going to the theatre also offer an opportunity to slow down the holiday season and  to gather with friends and family. Here are the Holiday themed shows I watch every year:

12 Days Review : If You Take A Mouse To The Movies by Numeroff & Bond

 

This is an adorable book that can easily become a Holiday tradition. The main story revoles around a young boy taking his mouse buddy to a movie.

From there a wonderful series of holiday traditions begin: Picking a Christmas tree, making decorations, popping popcorn, and making snowmen.

 Felicia Bond is such a gifted artist. Every little detail is gorgeously illustrated. There is also a CD with mouse themed carols, craft directions and recipes. Such a wonderful read!
