12 Days: Day 6: A Winter's Tea

When I lived in Connecticut, warm tea and cocoa were a staple of not only the holiday season, but all winter long. Now that I live in California having tea is a wonderful way to slow down and relax. If it happens to be a particularly cold week or a rainy day, a good read and a cup of fragrant tea is a wonderful pleasure.

I found this  image at TEAVANA'S website. If you aren't sure about tea preparation our what type of tea your might prefer this site is a perfect place to start.

TEA TIME is also a wonderful source of information. I just recently picked up their Holiday issue. I'm looking forward to making some tasty tea sandwiches and cakes.

Here are some of my favorite teas available only during the Holiday Season:

Trader Joes:

Vanilla and Cinnamon Black Tea

Candy Cane Green Tea

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf:

Winter Dream Tea

Winter Fruit Tea

Starbucks:
This tray of 6 Teas are each encased in awesome metal tins

I also discovered this really cute tea infuser that I'm hoping Santa will drop in my stocking :)

How about a game with your pot of Tea? Who knew their was a Pride & Prejudice Board Game?!

Finally here are 5 books that go well with a pot of tea:

12 Days Review: Home For Christmas by Jan Brett

One of the best places for a cup of tea and relaxation? Home of course!

PUBLISHER:
Another wonderful read by Jan Brett. In this book we meet the young Troll Rollo who has not wanted to do any of his chores lately. Rollo leaves his bed unmaid and doesnt help his sister with the farm animals.
In fact Rollo has decided to leave his family and their rules forever. As Rollo travels the land trying to find a home with Owls, Bears, Otters and a herd of Moose. As Winter comes Rollo begins to miss his warm house and his fanily.Rollo comes full circle on Christmas Eve returning home to a very excited family.
I'm in love with Jan Brett's art! It has such vibrancy and life. Every aspect of this story is a joy and it has a wonderful lesson about responsibility. Such a great read.
