My Geeky Week: Countdown to Free Comic Book Day !

This weekend is one of my favorite Events: FCBD ! Comics shops across the country offer current and potential readers the chance to grab some amazing comics for free. Really ! No strings attached :)

FCBD always feels like the beginning of summer. the weather is beautiful, there usually is a great box office blockbuster showing ( Iron Man 3) and the fan turnout at my favorite comic shops make the whole day feel like a mini comic convention.
