Close to you is a short yet sweet look at Chase and Terrible’s attempt at a little down time. The two are in a junkyard picking up a piece for Terrible’s car when the meet a strange woman who cajoles them into her home to pay for the part. Chess realizes pretty quick that things aren’t, and they soon discover not only does the woman celebrate the forbidden holiday Christmas, but she is trying to raise her husband from the dead! A nice little respite between Stacia’s normal intense books.

I tried to like this free novella but it seemed very stereotypical, the passion between the two characters wasn't really strong. I might pick up the first book in this series to check it out though.

This was a fun little read. Tim takes Fairy Tale characters and shows us what their adventures would be like in modern social media. Alice using tumbler, Peter Pan having a mid twenties crisis, and more. Fun art and some really snarky characters and situations. Super cute!
