Review: Wolverine Origin

I really didn't know what to make of this story. Fans of Wolverine know that he has lived for hundreds of years. In this story touted as his origins we see Wolverine as a young boy living in a very volatile family. There is a little misdirect where the reader thinks that the groundskeepers son is Logan instead this is a young boy called Dog who it seems grows up to be Sabertooth ? Maybe. Anyway after exposing his claws Logan is sent away with his former nanny and they end up living and working in an isolated town.

First off, the art in this book is stunning . I loved the look of it and the locations. However the story really dragged. I didn't really get what the point of the whole thing was. Just when the action revved up and got interesting it ends with Logan taking off for the forest more beast than man.
A mixed bag of a story for me overall.
