Hallowreads: Slasher Girls & Monster Boys

This is a very balanced anthology of creepy stories. Let's start with the story of the curator of this anthology : April G Tucholke. She is an author that is new to me but after reading  The Flicker, The Fingers, The Beat , The Sigh,  I am a fan! This story is about four teenagers and an accident that puts them on a path of destruction. The narrator of the story enraptures the reader in his experiences and his terror.

My next favorite story in this anthology was In The Forest Dark and Deep by Carrie Ryan. This story is a terrifying vision of the White Rabbit. A young girl visits the forests in her back yard and discovers a table laid out very much like the mad Hatter's tea party. Each visit to the forest brings more murders yet our heroine is unable to resist the lure of the forest.

Other talented writers like Marie Liu, Jonathan Maberry, Kendare Blake and Leigh Bardugo give us wonderful explorations down dark paths.

A wonderful anthology for fan s of Horror and Suspense.

Star Wars Journey To The Force Awakens : Color and Trace

The publishing arm of Disney has Done a great job of rolling out information about The Force Awakens. Almost too good a job for those hungry for information.

In this activity book we actually get a glimpse of a few new characters that I haven't seen in any other press to date. this book contains word search puzzles, mazes and pages to color and trace.

A really fun book! Fun for all ages and very heavy on Bb-8.
