Thankful Reads: Franklin's Thanksgiving by Bourgeois & Clark

This is a gorgeously illustrated book celebrating Thanksgiving and the community of friends. Franklin is so excited for Thanksgiving, mostly because he is looking forward to seeing his grandparents.  However when Franklin finds out his grandparents can't come he gets very disappointed. But as Franklin walks through his neighborhood he starts to invite friends to his families celebration.
So do Franklin's parents. Soon their celebration is a neighborhood affair and Franklin and his family learn that community is as powerful as family.
A wonderful fun read for children and families.
