12 Days Gift Suggestion : The Knights Before Christmas by Holub & Magoon

I fell in love with this book! I've always loved stories with Knights &Dragons and this book captures that feeling with a Christmas theme.

It's Christmas Eve and three faithful Knights are guarding their King's castle. The aarm rings and the trio find themselves being "invaded" by a large man dressed in red and white who is riding eight Dragons.

Now an epic showdown begins as Santa tries to deliver to those on the nice list inside the  castle(including the three Knights). 

i really loved the illustrations in this book and the same rhyming pattern of the Night Before Christmas.

A great read and an excellent gift idea.

12 Days: Holiday Movies

Movies have always been a big part of my holiday celebrations for many years. The weekend after Thanksgiving was always a family movie event and a new Disney release often lead to a day trip to New York to see it. This year my anticipation is high for this movie:

12 Days Gift Suggestion: Samurai Santa by Rubin Pingk

This book captures the energetic action of martial arts with a really nice story.

As Christmas approaches a young Ninja wishes for an epic snowball fight. His friends aren't too sure if Santa would agree. On Christmas Eve an intruder enters the dojo and an epic fight begins.

This book is so well done. The characters were super cute and there is a very sweet ending.
