Happy Holidays ! This week is all about finalizing holiday plans and meeting with friends and family. Also a time for great food! I have been keeping up with my workouts so I can really indulge in some of my favorites:

Review: Chasing Magic by Stacia Kane

This is the fourth book in the Downside Ghosts series. Stacia keeps the stakes high in Chess Putnam's life. She is involved in a relationship with a man she loves, yet her addiction and abusive past may destroy it.

This story starts with Chess being persuasded to look into a series of fires affecting the buisness of her drug dealer Bump while her new case for the church puts her in the territory of another crime famly and her ex-lover. 

The location of Chess's case is in a school and there are lots of creppy goings on and many suspects. 

This was a thrilling little entry in Chess's adventures. The romance in this volume was sexy yet heartbreaking in some parts. I'm hoping so much that Chess can keep love in her life despite her pain and her addiction.
