Review: Petty Theft by Pascal Girard

I've heard really good things about this creator and so I picked up this one since it was very centered around books. In Petty Theft we get a glimpse  of an authors life after a break up. Pascal is staying with friends and  receiving boxes of books from his Ex.

The only thing that keeps Pascal in a good mood is running, until her hurts his back and can't run due to pain. While recovering Pascal visits a bookstore and notices an attractive young woman steal a copy of his book Bigfoot.

On  a whim he follows her and discovers she works at a local cafe. As the two go from friends to romantic partners pascal is fascinated and disturbured by  Sarah's theft.

He even makes the decision to try to return all the books she has stolen.

I really enjoyed this slice of life type of story. Pascal is a very gifted artist and writer.

I'm looking forward to reading his other books.
