Today's Star Wars 52: Age Of Republic : Anakin Skywalker

This issue has a solid story about Anakin struggling with taking innocent lives vs protecting his Clone unit. In typical Anakin fashion he takes off on his own to find a third path and uncovers a separatist trap. What I loved best about this issue however  was the art! The emotional range the art team captures in this book is stunning. From Anakin's youthful joy in the cockpit of his starfighter  to a flash of the darkness that lies below the surface when he is triggered by injustice. The art deftly captures the two sides of Anakin: Hero of The Republic and Tragic Fallen Jedi.
