Fascinating exploration of the Obama years and the aftermath from a talented observer and writer. I really enjoyed the research detail and objective opinions Coates gives. The hardest part about this book was reliving the negativity of Obama's early career, and seeing the foundations that grew into much of the intolerance and lack of communication we have now.
Coates doesn't sugar coat the information and he manages to share the information with an observational eye.
A riveting , difficult read.
This is another great read for the armchair scientist. In this book Leonard gives readers a breakdown of how the brain functions and how many of our choices are guided by subconscious cues. The information is given in informational chunks along with exercises readers can perform that showcase the principles discussed in the book.
I learned a lot from this book, I'm looking a lot closer at my reactions to things and I'm looking forward to reading more on the topic.
