Official TBR Review: The Book Of Dust by Philip Pullman

Loved the audio version of this book! Lyra is such a beloved character to me so I didn’t know how I would feel about a prequel. But I fell in love with Malcolm instantly and enjoyed his journey to knowledge of his world and his service to a little baby that everyone desires for selfish reasons. A great start to a new series.

The princess Bride is the official read and watch along for the event. I've never read it before though I've seen the film multiple times.

Goosebumps I love reading goosebumps books in the summertime and watching them on Netflix.

Review: StarPig Issue 1

In 1979, my Star Wars loving preteen self would have been in awe of this comic.  My adult self is just in a state of joy over this space adventure penned by Delilah.  A young woman on her way to space camp turns out to be the sole survivor and literally in the belly of a spacepig. 

The art in this volume is so vibrant and creates a general adventurous mood for the story. We get glimpses of our main characters personalities in this first issue and it made me really want more. Also I'm really going to need some crafty person to make me a stuffed spacepig! A really nice start to the series .
