FOLLOW FRIDAY & Book Blogger Hop 6

Hello Fellow Hoppers and Follow Friday bloggers. I'm in the midst of a special X-mas Celebration! so be sure to Scroll down and check out all the giveaways I have, also I have a special interview today with Rachel Of  the Follow Friday hostess! Rachel is also a wonderful  graphic artist. She designed my wonderful blog header and my buttons. I highly recommend her for your blog updates:)

Do you like to read Holiday Themed books? If so are there any you re-read every year?

Mainly children's books. Brings back memories. There is of course The Grinch, but there is also a local favorite, which is the Cajun Night before Christmas that we like to read and make a big production.

What are some of your favorite holiday traditions?

The food. Boy does my family know how to cook, probably why I could use to lose a few pounds. Between Thanksgiving and New Years we have party after party, birthdays (3 in November and 3 in December) and holiday parties, usually one or two a weekend.

I know you love books :) what other types of gifts do you like to receive?

Electronics. I'm a total gadget geek. I like anything that does something fun or useful. iPods, Kindles, Computers, robots that clean my floors, I love anything electronic.

What book or books would you like to receive this year?

I have to narrow it down to just one? Well actually, what I've been asking my family for since Katrina has been the Harry Potter Series. I had first editions of the entire series, in fact I had just finished the final book before Katrina hit and lost them all when my house went under. I've been dying to replace that set out of all the books I lost. That would be a perfect book gift, but I know it would be pricey.

Thanks so much ! Now for the blogger hop:
This week Crazy for books had this to ask:

Have you ever gotten a book that was really hyped up and been disappointed in it? How did you do your review?

This happened to me with the book: And Falling Fly, I loved the cover and had heard amazing things about it. It was also the most expensive e-book I ever bought $12.99, I really wanted to like the book but I struggle with it. I decided to give my honest feelings and gave the book 2 stars >

Parajunkee's site had this question: What else do you like to do besides reading/reviewing books as a hobby?

I'd have to say Yoga even though I do it for exercise as well. I'm also addicted to IPhone apps like Angry Birds :)

I love it! A question pertaining something other than books! Here's the
short list of what I'm doing when I'm not reading:

Cooking, gaming, gambling, drinking, smoking, golfing and sometimes even
watching TV.

I expound on all of the above at my blog. Follow me here -

Hi There!
I'm an old follower dropping by to say hi! Thanks for doing the interview. It's interesting to learn about the people whose work we regularly read! Amazing the damage caused by Katrina! My cousins lived through Andrew (Miami) and still talk about it!
