REVIEW: ALERON by KANE

I haven't read a Vampire novel in a while and the description of Aleron really intrigued me.The first chapter really drew me in. I've read a lot of Vamp books but Alernon 's voice is a little different, strongly human. There was a little struggling for me in the beginning the narrative moved around a bit but i was always grounded by Alernon's personality, Kane does a great job with his internal descriptive dialogue. There is a lushness to his vocabulary as well as capturing the elements of Vampire politics and desires.

 

 

 

An interesting read with potential. There were some things that lacked emotion impact with me but I kept tuning the pages.
