Review: Womanthology Preview

Womanthology is a ground breaking Graphic Novel created solely by women. If you've had any experience with comic books or Graphic Novels you might notice the majority of them are created by men. What began as a Twitter conversation by Renae De Liz and some other female comic creators and fans, turned into a fully funded kickstarter promotion and soon to be published hardcover from IDW
I squealed with delight when I saw Netgalley  Had a portion of the book available. There are several stories and behind the scenes mini interviews of a few contributors. Here are my favorites:
Superless Hero by Kelly Thompson
This tale centers around a younger sister of two superheroes. Gorgeous art and a wonderful message about heroes of all sizes and shapes.
RPG by StaciePonder
This is a wonderful comic strip story about a group of friends who like to play Role playing Games. Relateable to everyone and fun
So many other great stories in this sampler, be sure to request it on netgalley and look for the full version being released next month.

Ooh, I just read a gorgeous graphic novel, my first in ages, but was wondering about finding graphic novels by women as they seem much harder to track down. This looks a good starting point. :)
