If you are a fan of the cinematic adventures of the Dark Knight you might have seen the name Michael Uslan in the credits. Michael has been the Executive producer on every Batman film from Tim Burtons  Batman in 1989 to The Dark Knight Rises in 2012. When I started this book I thought that it would be an in depth look at the making of the 1989 film (which will always hold a place in my heart) , Instead I found a wonderful memoir about one boy turning his passion into his career.

That doesn't mean there isn't any insight into the various movies, but what really shines through in this book is a glimpse into Batman’s growth as well as Michael’s. I loved Michael’s passionate form of narration, he lived through many of the highs and lows of the comic industry in it’s formative years. Michael also had the support of a loving family that supported his passions and his dreams.
Lots of great information about Batman’s past and wonderful stories about those whose passion for the Dark Knight brought him to movie theaters everywhere.

This sounds like a wonderful biography. I always find it interesting to see how others have succeeded in following their dreams.
