12 Days Holiday Romance : Jingle Spells by Various

Holiday Romances are a mainstay of my Christmas celebrations. Thanks to Netgalley I have a reader full of books for the month. Jingle Spells is unique in the fact that the stories are set in a contemporary world, but have a magical slant to them.
The stories in this anthology revolve around the the Evergreen family, the true force behind Santa and his sleigh. The Evergreen’s are wizards who have kept Christmas traditions going for centuries, in fact their powers are often determined by the amount of holiday cheer that exists in the world. The family have created a city in Colorado aptly called Gingerbread. The touristy aspects of Gingerbread are a ruse to distract people from the city’s true purpose as a toy factory and winter home to Santa Claus.
This year however Christmas is truly in danger thanks to many small fires like a Santa going through a midlife crisis, an author with a popular book called The Christmas Lie, and a beautiful hacker from Cole Evergreen’s past compromising the companies records.
The four stories in this anthology cover the love stories of Cole, Ethan , Dash, and Belle. Each story stands alone yet builds upon the events from the previous stories. I really enjoyed these stories especially the first one with Cole. I also liked the personal introductions from each author at the beginning of the stories.
