Selfcare Week : How To Start A Meditation Habit

Yoga Journal had a wonderful article recently on how to make meditation a daily part of your life. here are the tips:
Set aside Two Minutes every morning to meditate
Sit in a chair with your back straight, the top of your head aligned with the ceiling and your feet on the floor.
Close your eyes. Focus on the sensation of your breath. What does it feel like as it enters your nostril's? Hot Cold Tingly?
When a thought comes to mind, smile to acknowledge it. Then gently bring your attention back to your breath.
After two minutes,  or longer, open your eyes, stretch your arms overhead and stand.
This is a great way to start a meditation practice You can also find guided meditations on the website as well.
Notice the effects on your body afterwords, do you feel more relaxed? More awake? The positive symptoms you feel will increase as you keep meditating.
