My favorite male lead is the Vampire Lestat so my favorite series is Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. Lestat is one of the best male leads (and vampires) ever!

It all depends on what I've read, but right now Peter from Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes by Jonathan Auxier. I just loved him in that book. =)
