Review/Giveaway Rachel Rising Issue 1 by Terry Moore

 

Terry Moore is one of my favorite comic creators. His gorgeous art and predominately female centered stories are always enjoyable.Now he's tackling a Zombie story! Well, sort of. In nine gorgeously illustrated black and white pages we see Rachel rise. Earth trembles a hand reaches out then legs and then her entire body. She stumbles to the road than finds a ride home showers and sleeps. Things however aren't right. She has no memories of the night before and has strange markings across her neck.

I really liked this issue. Its not a traditional Zombie story but I'm looking forward to seeing how it unfolds.
