Review: Triggers by Robert J. Sawyer

ACE BOOKS
I really love the meshing of Genres in a book . With Triggers we get action mixed with scientific exploration. President Seth Jerrison has been struck by an Assassin's bullet. The president is taken to a hospital where Professor Singh is experimenting with a machine that can remove memories, focusing mostly on traumatic ones. These two separate events become one when an EMP blast scrambles the memories of the President and some of Singh’s subjects. Now someone has access to the secrets of the President’s mind including classified government secrets.
A very intriguing plot. I really enjoyed the pace and the characters of this book. Brilliant explorations of the mind and memories. Great vacation or beach read :)
