REVIEW : Moondust by J. E Nicassio

Samantha Hunter has just lost her mother and younger brother and finds her self in a new town with her Father and haunting memories. When she meets Lucien Foster she is intrigued and feels he is familiar. As time passes the two grow closer and Some interesting secrets are revealed about Lucien's past and his identity.

I was initially very interested in this book. the beginning was very interesting and I kept turning the pages to see what Lucien's secret was. The problem I had with the book was the romance. Of course Lucien and Samantha fall in love, but it lacked authenticity to me. I never really felt they had a realistic relationship and of course it is all consuming on Samantha's part. I found the non romantic scenes to be a lot better written and interesting.

It was nice to see a different type of paranormal element but overall I wasn't fully engaged with the book. Some promising bits but overall I've read this type of YA read a little to much.

I'm a student at Cibola High school in NM... and I loved MOONDUST. I'm an avid reader. I could relate to Sam and Lucien.
I give it 5stars!

How do you expect Samantha, and Lucien to have a "realistic" relationship? Lucien is not a human being....
