Armchair BEA : Day 1 Introductions

Hello Everyone! I'm happy to be a part of ArmchairBEA Today is all about Introductions! So I've chosen these questions:

1) Tell us a little bit about yourself: Who are you? How long have you been blogging? why did you get into blogging?

I'm Kai . I live in California and have been blogging for over three years. I got into blogging when I discovered the book blogging community on twitter. My main reason for blogging is connecting with others over books. I love sharing my excitement about a book I love and learning about books I might have missed from reading others blogs.

2) Have you previously participated  in Armchair BEA? What brought you back for another year?

This is my third BEA event. I love this event because it's a great way to connect with bloggers and get up to date info from the convention. I also enjoy the giveaways which have gotten bigger every year.

3) What Literary location would you most like to visit? Why?

I would love to visit England. So many of my favorite stories and characters come from that shore. It would be a roundabout trip but I would love to visit Sherwood Forest, Stonehenge, and also since finishing the Clockwork Princess Blackfriars Bridge.

4) What is your favorite part about the book blogging community?

I would say events like this one. The Internet bridges distances and time zones. I have blogger friends in London, Brazil , Spain and more. It is a wonderful thing how books unite us all :)

5)What are you currently reading?

I'm Reading this:

I'm a huge Star Wars fans and this book has been a lot of fun :)

I think Kai must be a popular name. It seems I have been crossing paths with Kai's all over lately. When I met the character Kai in Sweet Evil I thought it was such a unique name. But I guess it wouldn't matter to him if the name is more common than rare. He more than makes up for it in character.
England would be nice to visit. Nice to meet you.
