My Geeky Week Review: Judge Dredd Year One: City Fathers by Matthew Smith

I'm a huge Judge Dredd fan. Though I havent read any isssues of the magazine he stars in : 2000 AD for quite awhile. When I first saw this book in the nook shop I thought it was a comic. But upon sampling it I discovered it was a novella .
In this story we follow Dredd as he tracks a drug dealer flooding the Mega Cities with a dangerous drug. Smith does a great job of capturing the feel of the character and the energy of the mega cities. A very quick read but a great introduction to the Dredd character and a fun trip down memory lane for knowledgeable readers.
