The Skull Ring by Scott Nicholson, $2.99, available on amazon, B&N, Kobo, Sony Reader, iBooks and Smashwords. Love this book, more of a suspense thriller but a definite great October read!

If you'd like a classic mystery/horror selection, I'd recommend The Turn of the Screw by Henry James - you can get it free from the Gutenberg Project. It reads very old fashioned, but you have this growing sense of madness and horror and the ending is quite haunting.

Here is mine: http://www.amazon.com/Woods-Red-Hill-ebook/dp/B0082DB2J0/ref=sr_1_63?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1381632031&sr=1-63&keywords=horror

The Woods of Red Hill by Shaun Whittington - $0.00 on Amazon

Colleen
The Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe, free at Project Gutenberg in The Works of Edgar Allan Poe — Volume 2 : http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/2148

I have two:

I haven't read this one but have read part of the series... Two Graves by Douglas Preston and Lee Child. This is a kindle book and is currently $2.99.

The cover grabbed me on this one and I've added it to my wish list . . . The Neighbors by Ania Ahlborn. This is a kindle book and is currently $1.99
Curious - amazon gift cards can be used pretty much everywhere in uk, us, au, canada - wondering why it's been limited to usa for this challenge?

I have to go with Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. I got it for 99 cents on my Kindle. IT's classic for a reason and works so well for Halloween season!(http://www.amazon.com/Frankenstein-Original-Uncensored-Edition-ebook/dp/B00B3L3RPA/ref=sr_1_3?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1381633580&sr=1-3&keywords=frankenstein)
