Mini-Challenge

 

Jens Book Thoughts is asking us to suggest some books using this statement “If your reader really likes …, I recommend ….” 

I’m choosing the author Stephen King. If you like Stephen King I recommend Joe Hill

 

I first discovered Joe Hill through his comic series Locke & Key :

The manager of my comic shop suggested this to me because I’m a horror fan. This is an amazing series that is available digitally or at any local comic shop. While reading this story I discovered that Joe is actually Stephan King’s son! It was important for him to make it in the writing world on his own merit so he changed his last name ( Love that!)

 

 

If comics aren't something you want to try I suggest these two books:

 

Heart shaped box is about a semi-retired rock star with a love of the macabre. He purchases a ghost from an internet sale with disastrous results. Horns is about a young man who awakens to find Horns growing out of the top of his head that give him to ability to hear others thoughts.

 

 

 

 

A new to me author whose work I just discovered is Lindsey Barraclough: Long Lankin is a  creepy little tale I’m really enjoying.
