Review: Space Mountain by Siglain, Miller & Jones
Disney has done a great job at bringing their creations into the comic book world with Disney Comics. Space Mountain is an original graphic novel based on the popular ride. Our guides in this world are Tommy ford and his classmate Stella. The two students get the opportunity to travel on the Moonliner 7 a ship that uses a black hole to travel through time.
The trip goes awry as Captain Cole is betrayed by a colleague and his crew are scattered across time . Tommy and Stella combine their talents and mount a rescue. I’m a huge fan of Brian Q Miller’s so I couldn't resist buying the book. There is a comfort factor to this read because the story tropes are familiar, yet not boring.
I liked Kelly Jones art a lot, though sometimes the facial expressions of the characters were a bit off. The space scenes are the highlight of the book.
A must read for Disney fans.
This is my 27th book for Coyer Summer Vacation
