12 Days Review: The Christmas Tale Of Peter Rabbit by Emma Thompson
This is a short but sweet little tale written by actress Emma Thompson. It’s a few days before Christmas and Peter Rabbit us avoiding responsibilities with his cousin Benjamin. As they hang around the forest they meet a new friend: William The Turkey.William is bragging about being a guest at Mr. McGregor’s Christmas dinner. The rabbits realize he is meant to be eaten and hatch a plan to rescue him.
Eleanor Taylor’s art is stunning and reminiscent of the classic stories. There is also a CD version of the story read by Emma Thompson herself! A wonderful read.
