Take Control TBR Review: Batman Eternal Volume 1

This is the first volume collecting the digital series Batman Eternal. It's a 400 + page epic that starts with the arrest of James Gordon for murdering an unarmed suspect and for the deaths of over a hundred citizens when his shot then hit a power transformer.
Wonderful action and an appearances by Batgirl, BatWoman Red Robin, The Red Hood and a bevy of Batman Villains. I really liked the twists and turns in this series. The story manages to not only showcase Batman at his best but also flesh out the emotions and motives of characters like Catwoman, Killer Croc,and The Penguin as well as showing tensions at home with Alfred and his daughter Julia. Also the return of fan favorite Stephanie Brown.
Cant wait for volume 2!
