Blue Is The Warmest Color by Julie Maroh
This is a fascinating look at an often dysfunctional always passionate love between two women that is torn apart by the pressures of living openly gay and the journey to discovering who you are. There is a tragic death and yet the love between the main characters is a gift that touches both their lives forever. I had a hard time with the actions of the main character though. Much of it was do to her immaturity but also her infidelities. Overall however this is a solid story that deals with the challenges of love , no matter what your sexual orientation is.
