Review: Lando Issue 1 by Soule & Maleev
It's been wonderful watching the creative teams take on the Star Wars franchise. Though my favorites so far have been Vader & Kanan my excitement for the Lando series has been really high.
I'm so happy to say I wasn't disappointed. From the opening pages we find Lando charming a lady ( An Imperial Governor no less), and making a score. However Lando's latest steal doesn't bring him any closer to being out of debt. So he puts together a crew for an easy heist, that turns into a much worse deal than he can ever imagine.
This is a new reader friendly read with characters fans of the movies will enjoy seeing and some new characters that mesh very well into the established Star Wars universe. There is also a really cool reveal at then end. So excited for the rest of this series.
