Banned Book Week : Explore Challenged Graphic Novels At Your Local Library

This week Bloggers, Librarians, Educators and Readers are supporting challenged books with reviews and information on how to combat book banning. 

The library is a valuable resource to ensure readers have continued access to challenged books. Graphic Novels are consistently challenged in schools so the library is the only option for many to access these books.

The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund  has put together a wonderful  pamphlet educating readers on the  top ten Banned Graphic novels as well as the percentage of complaints received yearly. It was very interesting to learn that  about 35% of complaints come from parents.
