Review: Drawn Together by Le & Santat

This is a beautiful little book about building bridges between generations. A young boy consistently finds himself struggling with his visits with his grandfather. Their is a language barrier between the two, but once he pulls out his sketchbook his grandfathers eyes light up and the two begin drawing together. The art and words blend so beautifully  in this book. It actually brought me to tears.
This is such a lovely example of the power of Children's work partnered with such a great example of Representation. A beautiful read.
