Series Spotlight: How To Be An Earthling by Harkrader & Warrick

I love just wandering through my local libraries new release section and picking up new books. That's how I found this series. The series is about a young alien named Spork whose ship crashes on Earth near an elementary school.

He is found by a young girl named Trixie who hopes Spork can stay and she invites him to her class. Throughout the series Spork learns about Earth's customs and about various behaviors like Respect, and Patience. The end of each volume has activities to encourage young readers to learn along with Spork. 

These were fun quick reads for me as an adult. I loved the art and Spork's design is so sweet and open. A nice read for young readers.
