Today's Star Wars: 2 Destroyer Down

Star Wars Adventures has been showcasing some amazing artistic talent and interesting stories that fit within the movies. The regular series features framing stories with the Graf family from the Adventures In Wild Space novels from Cavan Scott who is also a major contributor to the comic series. Destroyer Down  is a mini series  from IDW that tells a story in two time frames. 
First we see Rey and the scavenger community of Jakku called to a special meeting. The sands of Jakku have revealed a ship of legend in the community a Star Destroyer named The Spectral.  The ship is rumored to be haunted and filled with treasure and a special reward awaits those that scavenge the best parts. Rey rises to the challenge and is soon in the lead after entering the ship first. However Sarco Plank and his guys are hot on her trail and Rey must use all her skills to survive.
I love this series! Seeing Rey in action on Jakku before the events of The Force Awakens is so fun. I love Serek Charm's art in the main story and it's interesting seeing various threads explained in the backup feature set onboard the Spectral before it's crash.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this story unfolds.
