Star Wars Comic A Day: Day 15: Star Wars Issue 1 (2020)

At last the New Canon of comics moves beyond Episode IV ! Bonus points for the architect of the stories being Charles Soule. The story opens with the fateful scene on Bespin where Luke learns a horrible truth. 
Then at the Rebels rendezvous point  we meet Imperial commander Zahra  who is wreaking havoc on Rebel ships.
With the help of the Falcon the Rebels escape to fight another day. This is such a great start to the new series! The art team is fantastic and I'm SO HAPPY that the have moved away from the photo realistic artistic style of the previous volumes. The characters are recognizable but they aren't  exact  replicas of the actors. I'm really looking forward to issue 2.
